Get To Know Our Pastor

William (Bill) M. Hill brings more than five decades of ministry experience to Grace Bible Fellowship in Western North Carolina. Ordained in 1976, Bill has served the church through pastoral leadership, biblical counseling, itinerant preaching, and international pastoral training. His ministry reflects a lifelong commitment to expositional teaching, discipleship, and equipping families to walk faithfully in the truth of God’s Word.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts, two master’s degrees (MA and MMin), and a Doctorate in Religious Studies (DRS). He has been certified with ACBC since 1991, providing biblically grounded counseling and discipleship to individuals and families. His pastoral background includes service as an assistant pastor, nearly twenty years as a lead elder, and several years of itinerant evangelism. Since 2005, Bill has directed Equipping Nationals Worldwide (ENW), training pastors and church leaders in Uruguay, Bolivia, the Ivory Coast, Haiti, the Philippines, and India. He has authored more than forty books and over twenty pastoral training manuals, available at churchliferesources.net.

Today, Bill serves as the planting pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship in Western NC, where he is committed to Scripture‑centered worship, family discipleship, and cultivating a warm, truth‑shaped community of believers. Bill and his wife, Christine, have been married for fifty‑one years and enjoy their three children and seven grandchildren.
